Entry forms will be collected through Friday, September 3rd for the 2021 Top Bean yield contest.  All producers wishing to throw their hat in the ring should contact their county agent, and return a completed entry form soon to Dr. Angela McClure.  Each producer may compete in both the irrigated and non-irrigated contests in his/her regional yield district.  District winners will compete for state Top Bean irrigated and non-irrigated champion.  Prizes are  provided by the TN checkoff and will be awarded to district and state winners.

The contest is open to any producer farming in Tennessee with a contest field of at least 10 acres.  Three continuous acres is the minimum harvest area required to compete.  There is no entry fee.  An entry form may be found here Entry form_2021 Top Bean Soybean Yield Contest or by going to utcrops.com/soybean and accessing contest forms.
