The remaining Soybean Scout School is scheduled for 9:30 AM in Robertson County (see below). Scout Schools are 2-2.5 hour, field-side programs about the nuts and bolts of soybean growth and pest management. They are sponsored in part by the Tennessee Soybean Promotion Board and the USB. Scouting notebooks and sweep nets will be provided to participants while supplies last.
- July 1, 9:00 AM, Hardeman County. Held at Rob Pinner’s Farm on Highway 179
North of the Whiteville City Limits (GPS: 35.337643, -89.151913). Link to Map. In the event of rain, please meet at the Crop Production Services store in Whiteville. - July 1, 1:30 PM, Dyer County. This school will be held at the Alan Burchfield Farm located at 1535 Tatumville Road, Newbern (Tatumville Community, GPS: 36.05101, -89.19295).
- July 14, 9:30 AM, Robertson County. This school will be located on Hwy 49 east of Springfield on the Draughon Brothers S & T Farm (GPS: 36.55527, -86.80444).
Signs will be up marking turn-in spots!
Would like to attend the first one, next week if possible? May have a couple of interns with me if that would be alright?
