One of our County Agents, Walter Battle, had the good idea of asking me to post this information.
Producers as the 2014 harvest continues, be mindful that on October 21st, Tennessee Department of Agriculture Private Applicator Certifications will expire. With that in mind, many University of Tennessee Extension offices are providing re-certification trainings. Call or check with your County Extension office to know when they are offering a training session or to schedule a time when you may come to view the video and take the test.
The cost of the training is $15 for re-certification. All cards issued this year are good through October 21, 2017. Please be mindful that if your card expires you must go through a certification training that costs $40 so by staying certified you save $25.
If you cannot attend at an Extension office, you can go on-line to receive the training. You’ll need to go to http://extol.tennessee.edu/certifications and locate the Private Applicator Certification and Recertification program.
On the left side of the screen, you can click on “Create New Account” or click on the link below that for a tutorial to learn how to create an account and to learn how to enroll in a fee- the Private Applicator certification and recertification programs. There is a fee for the PA PSEP program.
Two or more people can use the same credit card and same address. But, they must have a different e-mail address. There is a fee for the PA PSEP program.
