A New Year brings new opportunities for marketing, however it is also a good time to examine where the markets are relative to past years. The new crop December corn contract closed 2017 at $3.84/bu, virtually the same as the 2016 ($3.80/bu) and 2015 $3.83/bu) December contracts at the same time the past two years.
