PROGRESS MADE ON CORN PLANTING

Isolated showers across the state did little to hamper field activities. As a result of this, corn farmers made excellent progress planting. Some cotton producers were also able to begin planting. Wheat, pastures, and cattle continue to flourish, but some hay producers are concerned that their first cutting looks short.
