The Tennessee branch of the National Agricultural Statistics Service recently released Tennessee Cash Rents, 2011-2012. As expected, non-irrigated cropland cash rent for the state was reported up 14.3% from 2011 with pasture rent up 5.3%. The highest non-irrigated cropland cash rent was reported in Obion County at $128.00 per acre or 18.5% increase followed by Macon County at $126.00 per acre or a 65.8% increase.
