The 2018 Mid-South Cotton Defoliation Guide is now available online.  You can access the guide by clicking the above image or any of the embedded links within this post. This guide was compiled by Extension Specialists from throughout the Mid-South and is updated yearly.

Cotton defoliation applications started in Mississippi this past week and a few acres within Tennessee will likely receive applications before the end of August.  I’ll be posting comments on timing, product selections and rates as conditions change over the coming weeks. Much of the information I’ll be sharing stems from the attached document.  Keep an eye out on the blog for information on defoliation strip trials to be applied in the immediate future.
